Official Video: Aretha Franklin With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – ‘Respect’

Rhino Records will release A Brand New Me: Aretha Franklin With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on November 10. The album pairs recordings made by legendary vocalist Aretha Franklin with newly recorded backing arrangements recorded by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, including the hit “Respect.”
The 14-song collection was produced by Nick Patrick and Don Reedman, who utilized classic Atlantic Records tracks made by the Queen Of Soul. Sessions were recently held at Abbey Road Studios in London with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra who prepared new arrangements along with backing vocalist Patti Austin. The record showcases re-imagined takes on favorites such as “Think,” “I Say A Little Prayer,” “Angel” and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” among others.
A video was shared for the updated “Respect” mixing archival live performances of Franklin from the 1960s and 1970s with clips of The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Abbey Roads sessions. Watch the footage below:
