Of Monsters and Men are back with “Television Love,” their first new music since 2021. The quintet recorded the track in their native Iceland and hinted at more new music to come.

“Television Love,” which was written and produced by Of Monsters and Men, arrived with an accompanying video directed by Erlendur Sveinsson. The video mirrors the track’s central ideas, following the group through sequences that depict the flow of time, exploring evolution, pause and lasting relationships.

Of Monsters and Men’s last album, Fever Dream, arrived in 2019. The band followed in 2021 with the one-off single “Destroyer.”

“We’re so excited to share our song ‘Television Love.’ For the past few years, we’ve been tucked away in our studio quietly making music, and it feels really good to finally let people in on what we’ve been up to,” explained Of Monsters and Men in a statement.

“We shot the music video with director Erlendur Sveinsson. It’s centered around a conversation at a dinner table, with the band and the table moving through time and space, through chaos and calm, all while being both connected and disconnected from the surroundings,” added the Icelandic band.
