Octave Cat Steps Out With New Live Album & Spring 2026 Tour Dates

Live From The Simulation, Vol 2 includes an exploratory “Wooden Beads” featuring special guest Rob Compa.

Octave Cat — the trio consisting of Eli Winderman (Dopapod) on keyboards, Jesse Miller (Lotus) on bass/modular synths and Charlie Patierno on drums — just released a new live album entitled Live From The Simulation, Vol 2. The supergroup also announced they’ll return to the road April 23 – May 3 for a spring tour.

Live From The Simulation, Vol 2 collects standout moments from the band’s December 2025 tour dates. The set contains four fully improvised tracks, four originals and an inventive cover of Joe Jackson’s “Steppin’ Out.” Winderman’s Dopapod bandmate, guitarist Rob Compa, guests on an exploratory performance of “Wooden Beads.” Octave Cat shared pro-shot video of the collaboration along with Live From The Simulation, Vol 2

The spring tour begins on April 23 at 123 Pleasant Street in Morgantown, West Virginia. Octave Cat will make stops in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina before wrapping the brief trek on May 3 at Richmond Music Hall in Richmond, Virginia. Tickets are on sale now.
