Organizers of the Northwest String Summit have decided to postpone this year’s festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is now slated to return to Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, Oregon July 21 – 24, 2022.

2021 will be the second year in a row without the beloved festival as the 2020 edition was canceled in the wake of the pandemic. Refunds will be generated automatically for passes bought online. Head here for more details regarding refunds.

Read a note from String Summit organizers regarding the decision below:

String Summit Family: In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainties surrounding the timeframe of vaccination rollout and subsequently Oregon’s timeline to opening up and allowing mass gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to further postpone Northwest String Summit festival and reschedule the 20th Anniversary Northwest String Summit for July 21-24, 2022. We will automatically refund all tickets purchased online. Further details regarding refunds for both online and hard tickets can be found here.

While this was a difficult decision, we hope to share soon what we’ve been working on for THIS YEAR (2021) at Horning’s Hideout. Stay tuned on our social channels and website for more information in the coming months!

Be well, be happy and we’ll see you soon ❤️

Yonder Mountain String Band, Umphrey’s McGee and Greensky Bluegrass were among the acts on String Summit's 2020 lineup.
