Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, Pearl Jam/Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron and Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil are part of a new supergroup 3rd Secret. The band also features Void guitarist Bubba DuPree, and Novoselic’s Giants In The Trees bandmates, vocalists Jennifer Johnson and Jillian Raye.

3rd Secret surprise-released their self-titled debut album, which is currently available to stream on Spotify and YouTube, with Apple Music expected to host the record soon. Parts of the album were recorded by Jack Endino, who also mixed the entire album. Other parts were recorded by Nate Yaccino and Erik Friend, the latter also providing synthesizers. Additional drum parts were played by Martin Link.

The all-star collective recently played an unannounced show at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle.
