A live version of “Lithium” is the latest preview from the upcoming 30th anniversary reissue of Nirvana’s landmark 1991 album Nevermind, set for release on November 12 via Geffen/UMe. The previously unreleased live “Lithium” was captured in Melbourne on February 12, 1992 at The Palace in St. Kilda for Australia’s triple J radio.
Nirvana — guitarist Kurt Cobain, drummer Dave Grohl and bassist Krist Novoselic — released Nevermind on September 24, 1991. The 30th anniversary reissue features 70 previously unreleased tracks including four live performances of which the Melbourne “Lithium” is one.
