Nigel Hall Shares ‘Gotta Go To Work’ Single

Nigel Hall shared a new single, “Gotta Go To Work.” The song will land on the Lettuce keyboardist/vocalist’s upcoming solo album, Spiritual, arriving on May 14 via Regime Music Group.
Spiritual is the follow up to Hall’s stellar 2015 debut solo album, Ladies & Gentlemen… Nigel Hall. The singer-songwriter and keyboardist announced the new LP in February and also previewed the record with the single “Wake Me” in late March.

Hall now follows with, “Gotta Go To Work.” Nigel detailed the new track in a statement. Read his words below:
There is a Luther Vandross song called “I’ve Been Working” that I used to perform a lot. I love that song. I feel like this is my version of that song. DJ Harrison (Butcher Brown) and I wrote the song and it seemed fitting to do since we both worked a ton before COVID hit. It’s the story of a working musician’s life.
