Nicky Sanders Guests With Widespread Panic & DSO In L.A.

Fiddler Nicky Sanders of Steep Canyon Rangers was a busy man on Saturday night as he sat in with both Widespread Panic and Dark Star Orchestra at two different Los Angeles venues.

Nicky’s night started at the Orpheum Theater, where he guested with Widespread Panic on “Time Waits,” “Can’t Get High” and a cover of Jorma Kaukonen’s “Genesis” just one night after he sat in with Panic at the same venue on “Diner,” “Chunk Of Coal” and “Quarter Tank Of Gasoline.” Later on Saturday Sanders headed to the El Rey Theatre for the start of Dark Star Orchestra’s second set. Nicky guested on “Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodleloo,” “Cumberland Blues” and “Russian Lullaby.”
