Nicki Bluhm & Amy Helm Guest With Phil Lesh & Terrapin Family Band At Terrapin Crossroads

Terrapin Crossroads hosted a benefit for the Unbroken Chain Foundation on Sunday night. Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh performed a pair of sets with the and special guests Jason Crosby, Nicki Bluhm and Amy Helm at his San Rafael, California venue/restaurant.

Phil, Jason, Nicki, Amy, Ross James, Grahame Lesh and Alex Koford presented a mix of songs from the Grateful Dead and Levon Helm Band live repertoires. “It Makes No Difference,” “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,” “The Shape I’m In” and “The Weight” were among the songs originally performed by The Band played on Sunday, while “Tennessee Jed,” “New Speedway Boogie” and “The Wheel” were among the Dead tunes played by the ensemble last night.

The evening came to a close with a stripped-down version of the band performing a “Attics Of My Life” encore that featured vocals from Phil, Alex and Amy. Helm was in town for a performance with The Midnight Ramble Band at The Fillmore in San Francisco on Saturday night.
