Nick Lowe, the silver haired gentleman troubadour who asked us “What’s So Funny ‘Bout Peace, Love & Understanding?” embarks on a solo acoustic tour of the United States starting September 17. This is his first US tour since 2004, and Lowe will be spotlighting his charming new release, At My Age, a top flight set of classy pop ditties that includes some unearthed gems from The Uniques and country greats Farron Young and Charlie Feathers. With any luck, Lowe will dip into his voluminous back catalog for some Brinsley Schwarz and Rockpile treasures. Ron Sexsmith will open for Lowe September 17 through October 2 except for September 19.
