Nick Cave will hit the road for a rare “solo” tour of North America this fall. Cave will be accompanied on the run by Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood.
The famed musician, best known as frontman for Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, will perform songs from his +40-year career at each stop. Cave’s last solo trek came in January 2020 just before the pandemic began.
Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday, March 31.
Nick Cave begins the coast-to-coast tour with a concert at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville, North Carolina on September 19. Additional September shows follow in Durham (North Carolina), Washington D.C., Cleveland, Milwaukee and Chicago.
The October portion of the excursion gets underway at Minneapolis’ State Theatre on October 2. Nick Cave then brings the tour to New York City for shows in Brooklyn on October 6 and Manhattan on October 7. From there Cave will make stops in Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas and Austin. The jaunt ends with two nights in Los Angeles on October 27 and 28.
