Newport Folk Festival Adds Benjamin Gibbard & Chuck Berry Tribute To 2017 Lineup

The 2017 Newport Folk Festival will take place July 28 – 30 at Fort Adams Park in Newport, Rhode Island. Organizers continue to roll out this year’s lineup, with Benjamin Gibbard being the latest addition.

The Death Cab For Cutie frontman will perform solo at Newport Folk Festival on Friday, July 28. Gibbard joins a lineup that already includes John Prine, Fleet Foxes, Drive-By Truckers, Punch Brothers and more. Another recent addition is a tribute to the late Chuck Berry which will take place on Sunday, July 30. Tickets for the Newport Folk Festival are sold out.
