New To YouTube: New Transfer Of Classic Phish Show From 1990

By Scott Bernstein Aug 21, 2017 1:04 pm PDT

On April 29, 1990 Phish played a rare daytime set at Woodbury Ski & Racquet Club in Woodbury, Connecticut. Professionally-shot footage of the set has circulated among fans for decades, yet a new transfer of the video features the best version of the footage to appear yet.

Cleantones transferred the footage at 720p and color corrected the footage. In the video below we see an on-the-rise Phish work through such classic material as “Possum,” “You Enjoy Myself,” “Bouncing Around The Room,” “The Divided Sky,” “Fluffhead” and “Lizards.” The quartet also fits in covers of the Mustangs’ “Ya Mar,” Bill Monroe’s “Uncle Pen,” the James Gang’s “Walk Away,” Syd Barrett’s “Love You” and “Fire” by Jimi Hendrix.
