Jazz Fest gates are now open and the music will begin around 3 p.m. CT according to the latest update from organizers.
The final day of the first weekend of this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is scheduled to take place at the Fairgrounds today. With bad weather approaching, organizers have made the decision to delay opening the site to attendees. A press release simply notes the new opening time as “this afternoon.”
NOLA.com notes, that attendees should “prepare for a day marked by severe weather forecasts and a 100 percent chance of rain.
