New Features From JamBase

As the days get longer, we’ve been busier than ever! Over the past few weeks we’ve rolled out a bunch of JamBase updates and wanted to let you know about all the exciting new features available to you.
New Show Alerts
One of the most requested JamBase features is to receive an email alert when one of your favorite bands adds a show in your local area. We are very happy to announce that we can finally do this for you. Just head over to My JamBase Favorite Artists and enter your favorites or sync up your iTunes Library and we’ll start sending you alerts when new shows are added in your area.
For many of us, the live music experience is best enjoyed when shared with friends and by turning people onto their new favorite band. Now, you can easily spread the word on when your favorite artists are coming to your friends’ towns through the My JamBase Local Shows Widget. Customize and preview on the Widgets’ page, grab the code and add it to any of the social networks listed and you’ll be helping to promote the concerts for your artists. The Widget is automatically localized to the viewer, so it will let them know when your favorites are coming to their town. Cool!
JamBaseTV
JamBaseTV is an eclectic mix of music videos, backstage interviews and festival coverage brought to you in high definition wide-screen format. Hot off the heels of the Langerado Music Festival, in Big Cypress, Florida, JamBaseTV takes you from the front row to behind the scenes for up close and personal experiences with your favorite artists from yesterday and today.
Video previews are presented immediately offering a highlighted glimpse into each segment, enabling you, the viewer, to control which piece of content you want to see in its entirety. Each stream is individually delivered based on listening history and preferences, providing a unique personalized video experience that caters to your tastes.
New Enhancements & Fixes
We’ve spent several months taking feedback and making significant improvements to our main Search and Show Finder functionality to get you to your desired result as quickly as possible. Play around and test it out, and if you still don’t find what you’re looking for let us know so we can continue to make improvements. We’ve also enabled various other features on the site, like private messaging to non-friends, auto-URL linking in comments and forum posts, along with fixes to a variety of bugs which you’ve reported.
