Remi Wolf

Mud

  • Island Records
  • 11 tracks

Remi Wolf’s third album, Mud, arrived today on Island Records. The 11-track follow-up to 2024’s Big Ideas was recorded with live instrumentation alongside longtime collaborator Jared Solomon and friends Jack DeMeo, Jamie McLaughlin and GiGi Grombacher. Sessions moved from Nashville to a Big Bear retreat, Electric Lady Studios in New York and Joshua Tree, with Wolf sometimes behind the drum kit.

“I feel like I’ve crossed into a new phase of life because of this album,” Wolf said. “I literally felt like I was covered in shit. And now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear. It has been a very cleansing record to make for me.”

Cameron Winter

Live At Carnegie Hall

  • Partisan Records/Play It Again Sam
  • 11 tracks

Live At Carnegie Hall is the first live album from Geese frontman Cameron Winter, issued through Partisan Records/Play It Again Sam. The 11-track set captures Winter’s December 11, 2025 solo show in Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium, where he reworked songs from his 2024 debut Heavy Metal alone at the piano. It also includes “Take It With You,” “Vines” and three previously unreleased songs: “It All Fell In The River,” “Emperor XIII In Shades” and “If You Turn Back Now.”

Ariel Rechtshaid recorded and produced the music for the album and for Cameron Winter At Carnegie Hall, a concert film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. Janus Films and Criterion will take the film on a 35mm theatrical tour of North America beginning November 20.

Sheryl Crow

Pick You Up

  • Old Green Barn Productions LLC
  • 7 tracks

Sheryl Crow returns with Pick You Up, her 12th studio album and a seven-song set from Old Green Barn Productions LLC. Crow wrote the songs with longtime collaborator Jeff Trott, and the closer, “Freedom Bus,” features Jesse Welles. The release follows 2024’s Evolution.

“Each of these songs are a commentary on being human and wanting connection,” Crow said. “There is a lot of chaos all around us and I definitely find myself feeling alone. My wish is that whoever hears these songs feels the hope I feel when I sing them!”

Jess Williamson

A Mile South Of Heaven

  • New West Records
  • 12 tracks

Texas-born singer-songwriter Jess Williamson put out A Mile South Of Heaven, her first release for New West Records. Shooter Jennings produced the 12-track follow-up to 2023’s Time Ain’t Accidental at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, with pedal steel, fiddle and banjo prominent throughout. Williamson wrote the songs between Los Angeles and Marfa, Texas, and lead single “Goodbye To All That” takes cues from Joan Didion’s essay of the same name. Williamson explained the title:

“Depending on your outlook, a mile south of heaven may sound sad, or it may sound hopeful. We’re always a mile south of the impossible goals we set for ourselves, and my point is, maybe that’s ok, because a mile is pretty close. It’s about appreciating where we are now, because there is no finish line. There is always more work to be done.”

The Tallest Man on Earth

Just Beyond Endless Mountain

  • ANTI- Records
  • 11 tracks

The Tallest Man on Earth delivered Just Beyond Endless Mountain on ANTI- Records, an 11-track album shaped by Kristian Matsson’s return to his native Dalarna in central Sweden. Back home, Matsson revisited the polskas, field recordings and local folk traditions he had spent years avoiding, and he picked up the fiddle.

“Somewhere along the way I’d developed this immature aversion to the whole cultural inheritance I grew up with,” Matsson said. “But now I live here again. I’ve read an incredible amount — not just about the music, but about how people actually lived in the old days. I think that’s part of why this record feels more like me than anything I’ve made before.”

Dizgo

Innerstate

  • Self Released
  • 13 tracks

Indiana jam band Dizgo rolled out Innerstate, the quartet’s latest studio album and the follow-up to 2024’s Melt. The band – guitarist Andrew Pickel, bassist Kevin Hinnefeld, drummer Justin Clark and keyboardist Jake Evatt – worked with producer Vance Powell on the record.

“We’re exploring our place as individuals, and our place within the human experience, and then our place in the universe,” Evatt told JamBase. “All this stuff is interconnected and we’re telling that story through our experience of traveling and playing music and connecting with our fans.”

Dawn Richard

Creole Culture

  • Merge Records
  • 11 tracks

Dawn Richard wraps up her New Orleans-rooted trilogy with Creole Culture, out now via Merge Records. The 11-track album follows 2019’s New Breed and 2021’s Second Line: An Electro Revival and was co-executive produced by Katalyst. Guests include Big Freedia, Anjelika ‘Jelly’ Joseph, Tarriona “Tank” Ball of Tank & The Bangas, Durand Bernarr and Richard’s father Frank Richard of Chocolate Milk, . Richard described the album’s message:

“Creole Culture is my way of saying that New Orleans culture doesn’t have to live in the past to be authentic. It can be progressive. It can be global. It can be pop culture. It can look like me.”

The Nershis

Songs For The Road

  • SCI Fidelity Records
  • 10 tracks

Bill Nershi of The String Cheese Incident, his wife Jilian Nershi and their daughter Lauren Nershi have formed The Nershis, and their debut album, Songs For The Road, is out today on SCI Fidelity Records. They recorded with a group of Colorado players they call “The Colorado Contingent,” including SCI bandmates Keith Moseley and Jason Hann, plus Andy Hall, Chris Pandolfi and Jeremy Garrett of The Infamous Stringdusters. Mandolinist Oren Paisner of Ghost Town Drifters and Ross James of The Terrapin Family Band round out the lineup.

“We wanted our album to have that Colorado sound,” Jilian said.

Todd Snider

My Second Rodeo

  • Aimless Records/Thirty Tigers
  • 10 tracks

Todd Snider’s posthumous album, My Second Rodeo, is out today from Aimless Records/Thirty Tigers. Snider recorded the 10 songs in September and October 2025 at his East Nashville studio, The Purple Building, shortly before his death in November. Joe Bisirri and Robbie Crowell, who share production credit with Snider, finished the album from his emails and voice memos with a studio band that includes Aaron Lee Tasjan. Lead single “Solid Country Gold” was co-written with Jack Ingram in August 2025.

“This album is a glimpse into the creative outpouring from Todd in September and October of 2025,” Bisirri said.

claire rousay

on holding

  • quality sounds ltd
  • 5 tracks

The first release on her new label, quality sounds ltd, on holding is a five-track EP from claire rousay. It follows 2025’s a little death and draws on “field recordings while in-transit, hotel room Ableton explorations, piano recordings made between sound check and showtime using the provided pianos at each venue, interviews with people at the concerts, and live recordings of sets on tour.” Rousay further explained the thinking behind the album and label:

“The impetus to create this record came from amassing a hard drive of recordings primarily made on tour in Europe and the UK in March thru May of 2026. These recordings range from field recordings while in-transit, my hotel room ableton explorations, piano recordings made between soundcheck and showtime using the provided pianos at each venue, interviews with people at the concerts, and live recordings of my sets on tour. After returning home from tour and taking a month off, I began to massage the 30+ hours of recorded material into the form it exists in now.

“I am launching my new label quality sounds ltd alongside the release of this new work. on holding is the first release for the label. The label is a place for me to curate music that I feel has ‘a quality’ that speaks to me – works of sound containing distinguishing characteristics. I am thinking of quality not as a measurement of excellence but more of an intangible, personalized trait.”

Greta Van Fleet

Palace For The People

  • Republic Records
  • 13 tracks

Greta Van Fleet put out Palace For The People, the follow-up to 2023’s Starcatcher, on Republic Records. The band wrote the album in a remote Tennessee cabin, recorded it there this spring and co-produced it with Mike Elizondo, their first project together. The title traces back to London’s Alexandra Palace, which the band headlined in 2022 and which was originally called The Palace Of The People.

“As much as it is a Greta Van Fleet record and a rock ‘n’ roll record at its core, in its heart, it’s a very modern record,” guitarist Jake Kiszka said.

John Prine

Found Dogs

  • Oh Boy Records
  • 10 tracks

Oh Boy Records shared Found Dogs, a 10-track archival collection from late singer-songwriter John Prine marking the 30th anniversary of his 1995 album Lost Dogs & Mixed Blessings. Assembled from sessions and demos of that era, it gathers alternate takes, acoustic solo performances and five previously unreleased Prine originals, including “World Without Love.” Found Dogs first appeared in April as a Record Store Day vinyl run and arrives digitally today, one day before what would have been Prine’s 80th birthday.
