Neko Case Announces New Retrospective Album ‘Wild Creatures’ & Adds Tour Dates
Neko will also deliver her first livestream concert next month.

Neko Case detailed a new retrospective album, Wild Creatures, set for release this Friday, April 22 on ANTI- Records. The singer-songwriter also added tour dates to her 2022 itinerary and announced her first livestream concert, Wild Creatures: Live From The Lung, set for May 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
The 23-track Wild Creatures boasts a non-linear selection of songs from throughout Case’s two-decade-plus career. The singer-songwriter will also offer a new tune, “Oh, Shadowless,” which is due out Friday along with the rest of the digital-only retrospective album.

Case will present Wild Creatures on streaming services and via her website, with the latter featuring new and animated artwork by Laura Plansker for each of its 23 tracks. The songs will play in realtime as fans scroll through the site along with commentary from collaborators and artists Case has influenced alike including David Byrne, Jeff Tweedy, Rosanne Cash, A.C. Newman, Dan Bejar, M. Ward, Waxahatchee, Julien Baker, Kevin Morby, Allison Russell and Margo Price, among others.
Case has a few dates in New England on the books for late April before she offers her first livestream concert from her home in Vermont dubbed Wild Creatures: Live From The Lung. The digital concert, powered by Mandolin, is available to Neko’s Substack subscribers.
Neko kicks off her tour around Wild Creatures in earnest next month beginning with a two-night stand at Levon Helm Studios on May 28 and 29. The first leg of the tour will stretch through June hitting Texas, the West Coast, Red Rocks and the Midwest.
Case will launch a late summer run at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on August 28 ahead of additional Midwest dates as well as swings through the Northeast, the South and Alaska with the tour wrapping up in Fairbanks on September 17. Neko will team up with a number of artists on tour including M. Ward, Gaby Moreno, Indigo Girls, Andrew Bird & Iron & Wine, She & Him, Courtney Marie Andrews and more on select dates.
Tickets for many Neko Case shows are on sale now with all shows going on sale by Friday, April 22.
