Neil Young and Promise Of The Real finds the legendary rocker joined by a backing band featuring Lukas Nelson and Promise Of The Real. The group embarked on two legs of the Rebel Content Tour in 2015 and it appears they will hit the road once again next year.

German fan site Rusted Moon found ticketing links showing Neil Young & Promise Of The Real will play two shows in Germany next summer as part of the band’s debut European Tour. The first of the two performances will take place at Völkerschlachtdenkmal in Leipzig on July 20, while the second is set for Berlin’s Waldbühne on July 21. As for now, the two German performances are the only confirmed 2016 shows for Neil Young & Promise Of The Real but look for additional announcements soon.

Young seemed revitalized by his time on the road with Lukas and the members of Promise Of The Real. Neil dug deep into his back catalog and seemingly busted out a gem for the first time in years at nearly every show of the tour. “Alabama,” “Vampire Blues,” “L.A.” and “Walk On” were just a few of the songs that returned to the fold in 2015 after decades on the shelf. Beyond that, Promise Of The Real brought a fiery spirit that helped reinvigorate Neil in concert and the pairing led to a bevy of extended “Cortez The Killers,” “Down By The Rivers” and “Cowgirl In The Sands” that blew past the 15-minute mark. Here’s hoping 2016 will bring more of the same with multiple legs of the Rebel Content Tour once again.
