On Saturday, the first of two 2016 Bridge School Benefit concerts was held at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. The 30th annual event hosted by Neil Young featured the Canadian rocker joining several acts during the show, including Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters who was backed by My Morning Jacket and others.

Reprising a lineup featured at the 2015 Newport Folk Festival, Waters was also supported by his longtime guitar player G.E. Smith and Lucius vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig for the acoustic performance. The ensemble opened with the Floyd classic “Wish You Were Here” followed by Waters’ solo cut “The Bravery of Being Out of Range.” A trio of Pink Floyd favorites came next with arrangements of “Mother,” “Vera” and “Bring The Boys Back Home.” Waters then offered a cover of John Prine’s “Hello In There” before welcoming Young to the stage for a take on Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young.”
