Neil Young Live At Cellar Door 1970 Expected Soon

Well JamBase readers, there’s something you should know about our new editorial team. We’re huge fans of live archival releases. There’s nothing quite like hearing a crispy official recording that had previously sat on a shelf in a record company’s vault collecting dust. Recently news came out of one such live archival release from one of our favorite artists –Neil Young.

The latest installment of Young’s Archives series will be Live At The Cellar Door 1970, which according to Vintage Vinyl is set for a September release. The album pulls together 10 tracks recorded at a Washington, D.C. night club in 1970 and includes such Young gems as “After The Gold Rush” and “Down By The River.” Neil played a series of six shows in 1970 at The Cellar Door from which this compilation is taken.
