By Andy Kahn Jul 24, 2016 • 8:09 am PDT
Neil Young and Promise of The Real continued their European Tour together Saturday evening with a concert at Burg Clam in Klam, Austria. The single-set performance overcame bad weather and included the live debut of a song Young recorded for his 2014 album Storytone.
Midway into the show, Young donned a ukulele to perform his debut live rendition of “Tumbleweed,” which was originally recorded both with an orchestra and as a stripped-down solo uke arrangement for Storytone. The rest of the Young and POTR set include longtime favorites such as “Harvest Moon,” “Alabama.” “Love To Burn,” “Down By The River,” “Vampire Blues” and the show closing “Rockin’ in the Free World.”
