Tonight’s (Sunday, February 3) Neil Young & Crazy Horse show will be streamed live from the Burton Cummings Auditorium in Winnipeg for Neil Young Archives subscribers. Look for Young and the band to take the stage around 8:30 p.m. CT via NYA’s Hearse Theater. Note that a few kinks are being worked out with the streaming technology and as such tonight’s webcast will be in “test” mode. A note on NYA says, “We will be upgrading our systems for all future live streams — guaranteeing you the best experience your device and internet will allow and adding livestream support to the app — but unfortunately those changes will not be ready for tonight’s performance.”
This Sunday and Monday, Neil Young & Crazy Horse rides again with a pair of shows in Winnipeg. Young took to Facebook to update fans on his Neil Young Archives website and confirmed a Crazy Horse livestream will be available for NYA subscribers. Neil also announced a five-show Road To BottleRock tour.
As for now, there’s no word on which of the Crazy Horse shows or both will be webcast. Look for Neil to reveal the news soon on NeilYoungArchives.com. Young’s Road To BottleRock tour begins with a pair of solo performances. Up first is a show at Keller Auditorium in Portland, Oregon on May 17. Then, he’ll play the Fox Theatre in Spokane on May 18. Neil Young and Promise of The Real have three stops in store before their BottleRock appearance. The group visits the Paramount Theatre in Seattle on May 20 and 21 before performing at the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon on May 23. Tickets for all five shows are on sale now exclusively for Neil Young Archives subscribers.
