Nectar Lounge Announces Benefit For Victims Of Assault At Phish Show At The Gorge

Seattle’s Nectar Lounge will present a benefit concert and raffle with proceeds going to the two men who were violently assaulted at a recent Phish concert at The Gorge. Organizers The PBJ Present will host Troubled Water: A Benefit For Samir Poles & Joe Louis Allen Jr. on September 13 featuring performances by Adam Williams’ Bathtub Kin and Weener.
Samir Poles and Joe Allen were physically assaulted in separate incidents that took place during Phish’s July 21 show in Washington state. Detectives with the local Grant County Sheriff’s Office are seeking witnesses to either of the acts of violence.
In addition to the musical performances, Troubled Water: A Benefit For Samir Poles & Joe Louis Allen Jr. will also feature a raffle for concert tickets to shows taking place in Seattle. Participating venues and promoters include Nectar Lounge The PBJ Present, as well as STG (The Neptune Theatre, The Moore Theatre), Showbox, Neumos, Crocodile Cafe, Tractor Tavern, Triple Door, TrueWest, El Corazon and others. Tickets being raffled include concerts by Greensky Bluegrass, moe., Fruition, David Crosby, Dweezil Zappa, Kamasi Washington, Reverend Horton Heat, TAUK, Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, MarchFourth, Billy Strings, Jeff Austin Band, The Travelin’ McCourys, Robert Walter’s 20th Congress, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Kung Fu plays Steely Dan, Papadosio, Minnesota, Polyrhythmics, Kuinka, California Honeydrops, The Garcia Project and more.
