Neal Francis shared a live performance video for his single “Can’t Stop The Rain.” The song is set to appear on the Chicago-based keyboardist and singer-songwriter’s upcoming album, In Plain Sight, due out on November 5 via ATO Records.
Francis announced In Plain Sight in August. He also shared the studio version for “Can’t Stop The Rain” which features Derek Trucks on slide guitar.

Following the tour for his previous record, 2019’s Changes, Francis experienced a breakup and found himself living in a church where he began penning new material for In Plain Sight, a series of songs about “honesty and resilience,” as per a press release.
“I’m owning up to all my problems within my relationships and my sobriety,” Francis said. “So much of it is about coming to the understanding that I continue to suffer because of those problems. It’s about acknowledging that and putting it out in the open in order to mitigate the suffering and try to work on it, instead of trying to hide everything.”
