The Capitol Theatre welcomed Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats for two concerts last weekend. Saturday’s opening night was kicked off by Daptone Records’ instrumental outfit Budos Band. Following their set, the headlining soulful rockers offered a lively performance of favorites such as “S.O.B.,” “Out On The Weekend,” “Shake” and “I Need Never Get Old.” Rateliff played acoustic guitar on a solo rendition of “Waiting” and the full band joined him on the live debut of “You Worry Me.” The night wrapped with a closing take on “Trying So Hard Not To Know.” Photographer Andrew Blackstein was at The Cap Saturday, view his gallery of images below:
