Nathan Moore has a new album in the works. Fans can keep tabs on the development of his first new album since 2021’s Holler & Hope and help in its creation.

While the troubadour mostly relies on just his voice and acoustic guitar for solo recordings and performances, he’s far from a Luddite. Since the dark days of the pandemic, Moore has been interacting with his loyal devotees using his Discord server as a town hall of sorts where Nathan announces frequent livestreams, “Jabber Jawn” talk shows, trivia games and comes up with other inventive ways to make the most of “Nathan’s Land.”

Nathan Moore will utilize Discord’s features and his grassroots following to make his new album. Moore hosts nightly hour-long “Daily Practice” livestreams on YouTube, Twitch and Facebook Monday through Friday at 12 a.m. ET/9 p.m. PT.

The wordsmith’s “Daily Practice” sessions have gone so well, Moore started to formulate a plan for a new album. “Inspired by the progress being made due to my ‘Daily Practice,’ I am recording a record of solo acoustic versions of my songs, old and new,” the singer-songwriter explained. “I’ll be recording more songs than will make the final release. There’s a lot of fun, real time sharing and feedback happening on the Discord server for this.

“Each song has its own thread where you can hear the latest version and join in the discussion about the individual tracks or the album in general,” Moore added. “I’ve also made a playlist in All Access on my website that I update at the end of each day with the latest mixes. I’m very excited!”

The #ForTheRecord channel on Discord started with Nathan Moore sharing a list of “The Contenders,” 29 songs that could potentially land on the forthcoming album. Fans have been posting proposed tracklists and giving feedback as Moore uploads fresh takes from his studio. Get involved by accepting an invite to “Nathan’s Land.”
