Nashville’s Exit/In Announces Closure After 51 Years

Nashville concert venue the Exit/In will close its doors for good after 51 years of operation. The current owners Chris Cobb and Telisha Cobb confirmed the Exit/In will shut down after Thanksgiving.

The Exit/In opened in Nashville in 1971. AJ Capital Partners, which operates Graduate Hotels, bought the Exit/In property in 2021. A GoFundMe campaign was started last year to allow the Cobbs to purchase the property. The Cobbs, who own the nearby restaurant Hurry Back, took over the Exit/In 18 years ago.

The final concerts at Exit/In will feature Diarrhea Planet performing on Tuesday, November 22 and on Wednesday, November 23.
