My Morning Jacket Hosting The Waterfall Listening Party Stream & Live Chat

Tonight My Morning Jacket will host an online vinyl listening party of the band’s new album, The Waterfall. In conjunction with Record Store Day, a live vinyl playback of the band’s seventh studio album will be streamed from a listening party held at Electric Lady Studios in New York City’s Greenwich Village.
The live stream will also feature a simultaneous live chat with the band both at Facebook and at the band’s official website. The live Q&A chat begins at 9:30 p.m. ET and The Waterfall stream begins at 10 p.m. ET. The band shared some suggestions for optimal listening during the party:
-Firefox is the recommended browser for YouTube Live.
-Use an internet connection of 14 Mbps and above.
-Set YouTube video quality to 1080p within the player. This will ensure the audio experienced is at 48K.
-Avoid audio playback through internal laptop speakers. For enhanced listening use headphones or external speakers.
The Waterfall, My Morning Jacket’s first new studio LP since 2011’s Circuital, will be released tomorrow, Monday, May 4 through ATO Records/Capitol Records. MMJ begins their world tour on Friday, May 15 at the sold-out Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia.
