My Morning Jacket Shares ‘Complex’ Single

My Morning Jacket released the new single “Complex.” The song is the eighth of 11 tracks featured on the band’s forthcoming self-titled album.
Frontman Jim James produced My Morning Jacket which arrives via ATO Records next Friday, October 22. The quintet recorded My Morning Jacket at 64 Sound in Los Angeles over the course of two multi-week sessions held before the hiatus. MMJ previously released The Waterfall in 2015 and the companion The Waterfall II in 2020.
“Complex,” a song yet to be performed live, comes after MMJ previewed their upcoming record with singles “Regularly Scheduled Programming” and “Love Love Love.” The Louisville-bred rock band continues their 2021 tour in Birmingham, Alabama on October 29.
