Muse returns with the new single “Won’t Stand Down” for Warner Records. The song marks the English rock band’s first new music since the release of their 2018 studio album, Simulation Theory.

Produced by Muse, “Won’t Stand Down” arrives with an accompanying video directed by Jared Hogan shot in Kyiv, Ukraine. The anthemic, arena-ready song combines Matt Bellamy’s poignant words regarding personal empowerment with powerful and distorted guitars.

“‘Won’t Stand Down’ is a song about standing your ground against bullies, whether that be on the playground, at work or anywhere,” said Bellamy in a press release. “Protecting yourself from coercion and sociopathic manipulation and to face adversity with strength, confidence and aggression.”
