Mt. Joy swung by The Late Late Show With James Corden on Thursday to perform “Evergreen.” The song appears on Philadelphia-born, Los Angeles-based band’s latest album, Orange Blood.

The 10-track Orange Blood was produced by Caleb Nelson. Mt. Joy — guitarists Matt Quinn and Sam Cooper, keyboardist Jackie Miclau, drummer Sotiris Eliopoulos and bassist Michael Byrnes — put out the LP on June 17.

Matt Quinn shared the following in regards to “Evergreen”:

“Evergreen is the shot of tequila on this record. It’s a love song about trusting what you have during times when the world seems to be changing faster than we can keep up. It’s hard, but I think the only times I’m truly happy are when I embrace the insanity around us and pound my chest just enough to believe that if we stick together, we’ve got all we need to make it to the other side.”
