Mountain Man shared video featuring their cover of Wilco’s “You And I” from a recent Live From The Garden livestream special. The trio — consisting of Amelia Meath (of Sylvan Esso), Molly Sarlé and Alexandra Sauser-Monnig (Daughter of Swords) — released a studio version of “You And I” last December.
Wilco’s original “You And I” was recorded with Leslie Feist and issued as part of the 2009 studio album, Wilco (The Album). Sarlé stood in for Feist in performing “You And I” with Wilco a handful of times in 2019.

“We have been band members, collaborators, friends and business partners for over 10 years now, so a song like ‘You and I,’ a celebration of creating a relationship that is totally unique and filled with mystery, seemed very appropriate,” Mountain Man wrote upon releasing their version a year ago.
Two installments of Live From The Garden already aired. Mountain Man’s third and final Live From The Garden livestream special premieres on Thursday, December 17 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT via Noon Chorus.
