My Morning Jacket Expands October Tour
By Scott Bernstein Sep 6, 2016 • 8:21 am PDT
Just over a week after My Morning Jacket won themselves a bevy of new fans with a set that was the talk of Lockn’, the band has expanded one of their few tours of 2016. MMJ has added a pair of gigs to help span the gap between their appearances at the Bridge School Benefit Concerts and Suwannee Hulaween.
Jim James & Co. start the tour with the aforementioned sets at Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit Concerts in Mountain View, California October 22 and 23. My Morning Jacket then head towards Suwannee with shows at Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, Tennessee on October 26 and at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville, North Carolina on October 27.
Members of the group’s Roll Call fan club will have access to tickets for Chattanooga and Asheville starting Wednesday, September 7 ahead of the general on-sales this Friday, September 9 at 10 a.m. ET. My Morning Jacket ends the tour with an appearance at this year’s Suwannee Hulaween festival in Live Oak, Florida.
