Singer-songwriter Morgan Wade swung by the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum earlier this year for “Concert And Conversation.” The Nashville-based institution just released official video of Wade’s performing her breakthrough 2021 single, “Wilder Days,” during the hour-long session.

Morgan Wade co-wrote the semi-autobiographical “Wilder Days” with Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit guitarist Sadler Vaden. The song opens Wade’s sophomore studio album and major label debut, Reckless.

“I think we all kind of have that person that we’re like, ‘Man, right person, wrong time. If I would have known you at a different time maybe this would have worked out,'” the Floyd, Virginia-native explained of “Wilder Days” to Taste Of Country. “Maybe we would have made a mess or something. It would have been a good time.”

Morgan Wade was accompanied by her bandleader, guitarist Clint Wells, for the February set at the museum’s Ford Theater facility. Wade regaled the audience with several stories including tales of life on the road.

Reckless was represented in the setlist by “Wilder Days,” “Matches And Metaphors,” “Run,” “Take Me Away” and “The Night.” The rising star also performed the title track from her 2023 LP, Psychopath and previewed her forthcoming Obsessed album by playing “2AM In London” and “Time To Love, Time To Kill.”
