Moonalice released the new single “Woo Woo” as well as an accompanying video. The track was written by and features T Sisters‘ Rachel Tietjen who along with her sisters are members of the 10-piece Bay Area collective.
“Woo Woo” is out on Nettwerk and follows Moonalice’s recently released rendition of “Time Has Come Today.” The band’s current lineup includes Barry Sless, Chloe Tietjen, Dylan Chambers, Erika Tietjen, Jason Crosby, John Molo, Lester Chambers, Pete Sears, Rachel Tietjen and Roger McNamee.
The new tune is a T Sisters original and focuses on living in the present. “Woo Woo” features a beat akin to a train riding down the tracks propelled by drummer John Molo. Moonalice has been performing “Woo Woo” at shows across the country, including appearances at the LOCKN’ festival and the recently shuttered Terrapin Crossroads.
Moonalice’s “Woo Woo” video was prepped by Rachel Tietjen, Arthur Rosato and Jon Luini and filmed on T Sisters’ roof in Oakland. Check out the visual below:
