MonoNeon performed the National Anthem at an NBA game on Thursday. The Memphis-born bassist delivered “The Star-Spangled Banner” ahead of his hometown Grizzlies taking on the Golden State Warriors.
Reflective of his eccentric style, MonoNeon offered a unique rendition of the National Anthem. The deliciously weird arrangement featured a mix of tricky slap bass and jazz-inflected singing.
