Sierra Ferrell and Molly Tuttle performed at The Avett Brothers-hosted Moon Crush Avett Moon event in Miramar Beach, Florida. Ferrell and Tuttle joined forces for a memorable performance of John Hartford’s often-covered favorite, “Gentle On My Mind.”
Multi-instrumentalist Mary “Mair” Meyer, who performs in Tuttle’s band, also added vocals to the collaborative effort. Tuttle showed off her masterful acoustic guitar skills alongside Ferrell’s bandmates.
The performance was staged with Tuttle, Ferrell and Meyer sharing a single vocal microphone. Watch their take on “Gentle On My Mind” below:
