Molly Tuttle Performs For Paste

At the start of last month, Molly Tuttle released her highly anticipated debut record When You’re Ready. In support of the 11-track LP, on May 20, the virtuosic flat-picker stopped by Paste Studio in New York City’s Manhattan Center to live-stream a 22-minute set with her band.

The performance saw the bluegrass guitarist and vocalist perform four songs off When You’re Ready, beginning with the album’s dark and propulsive lead single “Take The Journey.” After a brief interview in which Tuttle spoke on growing up in a musical family and her path as a musician, the four-piece band offered up the easy-going “Take The Journey” and a reflective “Sleepwalking.” To close out the show, Tuttle performed a bounding take on “Light Came In (Power Went Out).”
