Molly Tuttle Covers Grateful Dead Classic ‘Standing On The Moon’

Molly Tuttle shared video of her covering the Grateful Dead’s “Standing On The Moon.” Tuttle released the video in honor of her upcoming performance at Dead & Company’s Playing In The Sand destination weekend in Cancun, Mexico.

The poignant “Standing On The Moon” appears on the Grateful Dead’s final studio album, 1989’s Built To Last. Interestingly, Dead & Company included the song in their Playing In The Sand opener on Thursday night. The song was a fitting one for Tuttle to cover not only as one of her favorites but in that it also references the “Gulf Of Mexico.” Watch Tuttle’s acoustic version below:
