moe. Covers Led Zeppelin With Warren Haynes & Talking Heads With Umphrey’s McGee
The double dose of sit-ins happened Friday at Sharkey’s Event Center in Liverpool, New York.

moe. sought the assistance of special guests for a pair of covers on Friday night at Sharkey’s Event Center in Liverpool, New York. Guitarist Warren Haynes sat in on a Led Zeppelin song and members of Umphrey’s McGee helped moe. take on Talking Heads.
Haynes, who was in the region ahead of an appearance Saturday at the nearby New York State Blues Festival, came out toward the latter half of moe.’s set, which followed UM’s show-starting performance. moe. and Haynes dove into “No Quarter,” with the latter playing a Gibson SG alongside moe. guitarists Chuck Garvey and Al Schnier.

Garvey, Schnier, bassist Rob Derhak, drummer Vinnie Amico, keyboardist Nate Wilson and percussionist Jim Loughlin made room on the stage during the encore for members of Umphrey’s McGee. UM guitarists Jake-Cinninger and Brendan Bayliss, keyboardist Joel Cummins, percussionist Andy Farag and drummer Scotty Zwang (bassist Ryan Stasik sat out the sit-in) collaborated with moe. on “Crosseyed & Painless.”

moe.’s next two concerts will be held at The Charleston Pour House in Charleston, South Carolina on Wednesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 19. The band recently revealed both “Time moe.chine” shows will present setlists consisting exclusively of songs written in 1999 and before.
