Jam-rockers moe. played their first of two consecutive shows at The Civic Theatre in New Orleans on Friday night. The band debuted a traditional song about The Crescent City at the start of the second set by performing “The House of the Rising Sun.”

Bassist Rob Derhak handled lead vocals on the moe. debut of “The House of the Rising Sun,” a song made famous by The Animals in 1964.  The band loaded the rest of the show with a mix of classics from their early days such as “Rebubula,” “Bring You Down,” “Seat Of My Pants” and “Akimbo” and newer material such as “Silver Sun,” “Paper Dragon” and “Tailspin.”
