Minus the Bear resumes their Menos el Oso 20th Anniversary Tour in September with a 14-date run. The Seattle rockers will perform their sophomore album from front to back at each headline show with support from KEEP.
The celebratory trek began last fall when Minus The Bear reunited for their first tour in seven years. A deluxe edition of Menos el Oso featuring five previously unreleased demos was released in August via Suicide Squeeze to mark the occasion.
The September leg kicks off on September 2 at Marathon Music Works in Nashville. Dates in Ohio, Michigan, Missouri and Oklahoma follow. Minus The Bear then opens for Jimmy Eat World in Texas on September 9 at Austin’s Moody Amphitheater and on September 10 at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving.
The headline run resumes on September 11 in Lawrence (Kansas). From there, Minus The Bear hits venues in Iowa, New York, Connecticut, Virginia and North Carolina before ending the tour with an appearance at the Shaky Knees festival in Atlanta on September 19.
“We had way too much fun playing Menos el Oso on the Fall run last year so we’re gonna do it again! This time we’re hitting some of our favorite towns that we couldn’t squeeze into the last itinerary plus we just couldn’t pass up a chance to play with Jimmy on their Bleed American tour. See you in September!” shared Minus The Bear’s David Knudson.
Pre-sale tickets are available now using “MENOS20YEARS” as the password. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 20 at 10 a.m. local time.
