Earlier this year, Phish bassist Mike Gordon embarked on his second-ever tour with the current lineup of his five-piece band featuring guitarist Scott Murawski, percussionist Craig Myers, drummer John Kimock and keyboardist Robert Walter. Today, Mike has released an official live recording of a show from the tour.
Mike Gordon’s February 2 performance from the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon is available for purchase via LivePhish and can be streamed for LivePhish+ subscribers. The five-piece focused on Gordon/Murawski originals including “How Many People Are You,” “Different World,” “Only A Dream” and “Here Today.” Gordon’s show in Portland also featured a take on Kimock’s “Mother’s Song,” covers of Fiona Apple’s “Sleep To Dream” and Talking Heads’ “Cities” as well as a version of the Phish classic “Meat.”

The bassist will hit the road with Phish starting on June 22.
