Twiddle frontman Mihali today shared a new single entitled “Maplewood.” The song, out via Ineffable Music Group, takes its name from the town in New Jersey where the multi-instrumentalist grew up.

“‘Maplewood’ is about turning 18 and leaving home for the first time to discover who you really are,” explained Mihali of the reggae-infused tune produced by Nate Feinstein (Iya Terra) and mixed by E.N. Young. “It’s a journey filled with lessons and hardships, but also plenty of love and joy. I called this song Maplewood after the town I grew up in, a town that showed me a tremendous amount of love throughout my childhood and prepared me for the rest of my life.”

The Vermont-based musician released his first solo album, Breathe And Let Go, in 2020. Among his plans for the spring is a Twiddle tour in April.
