Midnight North Plays For ‘Jam In The Van’

By Andy Kahn Jul 18, 2017 9:04 am PDT

As reported, last month the Jam In The Van mobile recording studio came to Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California. Among the acts captured that day was Midnight North who performed three songs inside the “world’s first solar powered music discovery vehicle.”

Midnight North’s session was simultaneously projected on video screens outside Terrapin Crossroads while the audio was also amplified in the venue’s Grate Room. Guitarist Grahame Lesh leads the group through a rendition of the single and title track from the band’s just-released studio album Under The Lights. Multi-instrumentalist Elliott Peck handles vocals on the record’s “Greene County” and the two singers share duties on the album cut “Roamin.’”
