Mickey Hart, Bob Weir & Steve Kimock In Studio

Those who visited Mickey Hart’s Facebook page yesterday saw an interesting photo showing the Grateful Dead drummer in the studio with guitarist Steve Kimock and fellow Grateful Dead member Bob Weir. Take a look:

There’s no word yet on what the trio is cooking up, but we did notice a comment from Hart’s Rhythm Devils partner Bill Kreutzmann saying “Save me a seat, Mick!” While Hart, Kreutzmann and Weir will team with Phil Lesh for three shows in Chicago billed as the final ride for the Grateful Dead, we have no doubt we’ll continue to see variations of the core four over the course of the year. For instance, the Peach Music Festival lineup announcement included word Weir will perform with Billy & The Kids.

We look forward to seeing what Mickey et. al have in store.
