Michigander, the project of Kalamazoo native Jason Singer, shared a new single, “Peace of Mind.” The song is set for Michigander’s upcoming debut full-length album, due out on February 7 via Totally Normal Records/Thirty Tigers.

Following a string of singles and EPs, Singer announced Michigander in October and shared the single “Emotional.”

“I’ve worked my whole life to create my first album, and this moment truly feels like a special one,” Singer stated. “With the release of ‘Emotional’ I finally get to share this feeling with my fans and let them know it’s coming. I can’t wait for people to hear it and to play all this music live.”

Jason also previously shared the Michigander track, “Giving Up.” Singer co-wrote the latest preview, “Peace of Mind,” with renowned producer/musician Butch Walker (Green Day, Weezer, Fall Out Boy).

“‘Peace of Mind’ is a song about living rich on minimum wage,” Jason said of the new single. “It’s about how we as humans will never be satisfied with what we have and no matter how many goals we accomplish, we still will always want more. I wrote this one afternoon with Butch Walker. He’s an incredible human being and we had the best time together.”
