Famed singer-songwriter Michael McDonald served as the musical guest on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. McDonald previewed his upcoming “Home Alone 2 — Birthday Bash: A Party Of One” livestream concert by performing “What A Fool Believes.”
McDonald went solo for his remote performance on last night’s Kimmel, though he was aided by pre-recorded backing tracks. “What A Fool Believes” was co-written by Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins. The chart-topping hit was released by The Doobie Brothers on their 1979 studio album, Minute By Minute.
