Merlefest Announces Initial 2020 Lineup

Willie Nelson will return for the first time in 20 years to perform at Merlefest 2020. Alison Krauss, and also top the Merlefest 2020 initial lineup. The annual festival returns to the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina on April 23 – 26.

Other initially confirmed Merlefest 2020 acts include Jim Lauderdale, Kruger Brothers, The Waybacks, Scythian, Donna the Buffalo, Peter Rowan, Tommy Emmanuel, Shinyribs, Charley Crockett, Darrell Scott, The Steel Wheels, Robbie Fulks, Amythyst Kiah, Cordovas, Alison Brown and several others. MerleFest was founded in 1988 in memory of guitarist Eddy Merle Watson, the son of the late Doc Watson.
