Melvin Seals & JGB Announces Permanent Addition Of John Kadlecik & 2020 Tour Dates
Guitarist John Kadlecik has joined Melvin Seals & JGB. Kadlecik has been touring with the group for the past few months and now he is a permanent member. Melvin Seals & JGB confirmed the news and detailed over two dozen 2020 tour dates.
“John is number one at sitting in that seat of simulation. Many players have licks that sound like Garcia, but John is full force with a sense of originality,” said Seals in a statement. Kadlecik replaces Zach Nugent who parted ways with the band earlier this year.
Melvin Seals & JGB will start 2020 with a tour of Hawaii in February that includes stops in Oahu, Big Island, Kauai and Maui. Then, the group heads to the Northeast for shows in Rochester, Hartford, Asbury Park, Port Chester (New York), Ardmore (Pennsylvania) and Buffalo. Seals and company hit the Midwest next for March performances in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana. From there, Melvin Seals & JGB bring the run to Washington D.C., New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Additionally, the band will play Skulls & Roses on April 4, a Jazz Fest late night in New Orleans on May 1, the famed Warfield in San Francisco on May 8, the Rooster Walk festival on May 23 and the Back Home Festival on June 27.
